" Alive, Beat, and still Gone "

Juice Magazine
"All my poetry is in flux . . .every time I retype or even re-perform a poem, I change it . . . sometimes with just a pause. Any poem that's less than a couple of years old is subject to flux beyond recognition. . . they're poems in process. A Poem in process is pushed and shoved by the interaction of word and audience until it reaches a point where it resists change . . . like a cornered hog . . . and squeals."
