Stephen Morse

Widely published award winning small press poet. Editor and publisher of the web based version of Juice online, and moderator of a web based international poetry discussion group,   Morse has had a variety of other professional experience and accomplishments:

Co-anchored a television news show in Contra Costa County, CA, has done voice-over work for advertising agencies in the Bay Area, edited and published Juice Magazine since 1975( a serial publication awarded several grants by the National Endowment of the Arts ).

Morse has also been involved in the Minnesota community as a  Public Safety Commissioner in Chanhassen; Chairmen of  the Heritage Preservation Commission in Excelsior,  the endorsed Democratic candidate for MN State House of Representatives (twice) and has been active in community theater in the Minnetonka area as a performer and playwright.

Morse has a Master’s degree in Creative Writing from San Francisco State University, San Francisco, CA; a Bachelor’s degree in English from California State University, Hayward, CA, and has studied literature at the University of Oregon, Eugene, OR
