Winnie Star

lives in California, glad to have been transplanted from New York (a long time ago). In her straight life as Winifred L. Star, RNC, NP, MS, she holds out as a nurse practitioner and principal co-author/editor of several award-winning textbooks in women's health.

Creative writing of poems, short stories and lyrics started a few years back when she discovered the other side of her self. Her poetry has been published in The Permanente Journal and a few ezines: Juice, and Warm Angel Whiskey; a co-written song is on Stand Alone, her ex-hubby's CD.  Maybe she'll keep going in this realm, "with a little help from her friends."
